Artist's Biography

Łukasz Wodyński

Polish visual artist born in 1985 r. In Bydgoszcz. He comes from family witch strong artistic roots, in which have particularly marked:

Józef Wodyński (1884 – 1947) – polish stage designer and painter, J. Stanisławski, J. Fałat, J. Mehoffer student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow

Jan Wodyński (1903 – 1988) – polish kapist painter, W. Weiss student, co-founder of the second Paris Committee (polish colorists painters group)

In his work artist uses classical visual techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture but also many kinds of new media techniques and performance. Wodyński’s body of work is multi-layered. First of all he focuses around the subject of man and the deep existential, emotional and spiritual layers associated with him. It also touches the problems of the postmodern world, realizing the scale of the challenges it had to face with.

You can find his artworks in collections all over the world, including in U.S.A, Geat Britain, Grece, Poland, Germany, France, Espania, Holland and Switzerland.
